Check that out, no more realtek codecs, finally a manufacturer that has the balls to go a little more extreme. That's a 20k@ Creative labs Audio processor, the X-Fi, the memory next to it even indicates some extra memory for the DAP. Next to the audio chip sits 64 MB XRAM, backed by a high-grade Cirrus Logic DAC and OPAMP circuit, driving signal-noise ratio quite easy above 105 dBA.
You pretty much have a fully fledged soundcard on-board with access to the entire Creative Labs audio software suite, and that is just great. See those yellow and bright capacitors? These are quality Nichicon MUSE ES series and MW series Bi-Polarized audio capacitors COVERING each channel layout.
Very eye catching is of course the overall design. Slot connectivity wise you'll spot three PCI Express x16 slots.
