You'll will notice that this Mini ITX motherboard even comes with a x16 PCIe SLOT that actually is configures as Gen 2.0 with 16 lanes. Strange is to see the 4-pin ATX CPU power location, very close to the PCIe slot. I guess Gigabyte ran out of space, but that location is far from ideal.
On the left side we see the standard ATX power connector as well as four SATA 6Gbps ports, very nice. We tested the controller with a SATA3 SSD and the performance really is impressive. Next to it is a USB 3.0 motherboard connector and on top of it the frontpanel connector. Again, positioned rather odd likely due to lack of space. These are all minor inconveniences of course.
There are 2 x DIMM DDR3 socket support up to 64GB DIMM support (!) with support for DDR3 up to 1333/1600/1866/2133 MHz. The motherboard has Socket FM2 for AMD A series Trinity/Richland processors, also referred to as socket A85X - This board supports CPU up to 100W TDP.
Oh come on... how incredibly cute is that ?
