Fan control options/placement
Fan speed is temperature-controlled. The fan RPM range depends on what fan model you use.
Fan control on the Gigabyte B550 Vision D can be accessed both in the BIOS, or through SIV in Windows. The Gigabyte B550 Vision D provides:
- 1 x CPU fan header
- 1 x water cooling CPU fan header
- 4 x system fan header
- 2 x system fan/water cooling pump header
There are 2 headers for the CPU fan + opt above the RAM slots, on the top-right side. Three chassis fan headers are located close to the RAM, just below the 24-pin ATX connector.
One (system) fan connector is located close to the VRM section/CPU socket.
The final two chassis fan headers are located in the bottom-center part of the motherboard.
