As we always do, we start with packaging. The cooler is packaged well, cushioned and bundled safely in a recognizable Organge Aorus design packaging and box.

Once unboxed you'll spot the cooling unit consisting of the heatsink assembly, fan and brackets + back and base plate that supports a very wide range of AMD and Intel processors. A little thermal paste is included as well.

The weight of the cooler including fan sits at 670 grams and it only comes with three 10 mm heat-pipes that deliver heat to the aluminum fins. The cooler as standard comes with a RGB lit top plate.

Here we have the unit with the that black Aorus logo top plate. The logo is LED lit configurable with Gigabte's software btw. You'll receive two fans for a push pull configuration.

Above, the cooler placed on its side, we can see the cooling block. Running through it are three copper heat pipes (10mm) arranged in a U-shaped design with the fan located at the opposing side in the middle. The pure copper fins effectively disperse heat away from the CPU via composite heat pipes.

The fans are PWM responsive, and spins at 500 - 1700 ±10% RPM with PWM control, pushing 14-53 CFM ±10% of air, creating 0.2-1.93 mmH2O ±10% of air pressure, and making up to 12 ~ 31 dBA of noise.
