Features
Before we begin with the technology overview let's have a look what's inside the box.

In the nicely designed box we'll find a very nice looking mainboard with a plethora of gadgets which show the immense detail Gigabyte put into this package.

Included with the mainboard are Serial ATA Cable & extra header, I/O Shield, 3x IDE Cable, 1x floppy cable, 1x Serial ATA power cable, FireWire cable, 1x 2 port USB cable, 1x DPS, Surround & SPDIF kit. Included software next to the standard drivers and tools is Norton Internet Security, Norton Anti Virus,  Norton Personal Firewall, Norton Privacy Control, Norton Parental Control and Ad Blocking. Next to all this several manuals for the mainboard, quick install guide, and manuals for the controllers can be found. All of them quite details and very helpful. Very nice package if you ask me.

A plethora of gadgets you'll receive with the 7NNXP

The layout of this mainboard is good, everything seems to be in place. Everything is easily accessible. DDR memory slots are not blocking the AGP cards. Gigabyte has placed the ATX power connector just below the DIMM slots, keeping the cable chaos associated with many other motherboards to a minimum. Overall a very nice looking mainboard with everything color coded.

The AGP slot is Green, RAID connectors are green, DIMM is blue and orange (dual channel). It helps you mentally separate the different connections on the board which can be very helpful for the amateur PC builder. What I just love is the color coded jackets for THE HD/POWER LED, Speakers, Reset and power on switch. Each connection has it's own color. If PC case manufacturers and mainboard producers would set this as a standard then all would be so much easier and the irritation factor a lot lower while assembling that PC.

The 7NNXP surely is a colorful sighting
