Installation

Ok, time to move on and start installing stuff. It is easy to move components around if you remember how important it is to ground your self. Also, some of our forum members have been asking from time to time if it is important to use the small stand-offs (spacers) that the cases come bundled with. Yes, it is important since those are there to prevent the motherboard components that pass through the board to touch the metal backing of the case and thus prevent a short-circuit. Also, you should use all of the available holes that your motherboard has because if you notice, the holes are at important places. Close to the CPU, the RAM, the graphics card and the I/O part of the motherboard. The places where are most likely to be subjected to force when installing the various components.

The first thing that most people will notice is that the motherboard tray does not come off like some other cases. It might bother some, but I really didnt feel the need for the tray to come off to put the motherboard in or to take it out. The extra room it has is more than enough to take it out without the need to also take out the hard disk or any optical drive. (Like I needed to do with my older case if I wanted to tinker inside).

These are the holes where you have to screw in the stand offs. The case supports ATX, M-ATX, mini ATX and Flex ATX, with the codes next to the holes showing which is correct for which type of motherboard.

Space enough ! See that metal bar on the upper part of the case where the Power Supply goes? That supports the PSUs weight and is also useful for cable management. In case the PSU is too big to easily slip into place, you can just unscrew the bar, put the PSU in, and screw it back.

A closer look at the PSU support bars. See the small black clip on the inside of the bar? (Barely noticeable) That is used for cable management.

The clips inside the red squares are the two of the six ones you need to unclip so that the front will be released.
