We begin with our usual pages that show the ins and outs of this graphics card with photos, all taken with an in-house photo-shoot of course. NVIDIA has a really nice offering here with a dark PCB and familiar the dual-slot cooler. I am trying out some new photography backgrounds, if you hate it ... sorreeeh!

The founder edition of the GeForce RTX 2060 powered by NVIDIA's more modest offering in Turing, the A revision TU106 graphics processor. So it really is a modified version of the Turing TU106 GPU used in the GeForce RTX 2070, the GeForce RTX 2060 brings the GeForce RTX architecture, including DLSS and (Hybrid) raytracing, to the midrange GPU segment. These cards are fitted with 6 GB GDDR6 memory running at an effective data rate of 14 Gbps, which is the same value as the 2070/2080 cards. The product will sell for roughly 349 USD/EUR (at least it should be in that range).

The card has a dual-fan design and has been fitted with one HDMI port, two DisplayPort connectors as well as a new virtual link connector for VR purposes. Interestingly enough, NVIDIA brought back the DVI port (dual-link). The GeForce RTX series has DisplayPort 1.4 connectors 1.4a Ready, enabling support for 8K displays at 60Hz.

  • Boost: 1,680 MHz / Base: 1,365 MHz
  • Memory 14.0 Gbps GDDR6 (effective data-rate)

Yes, it's really there, a DVI connector. lacking though is an NVLINK connector, ergo SLI is not supported much like the RTX 2070. Currently, the only RTX cards that are SLI compatible are the GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti
