DX9: Hard Reset

DX9: Hard Reset

Hard Reset is a PC-exclusive FPS from The Flying Wild Hog, a Polish developer that is made up from members of the team behind Painkiller (People Can Fly), and former developers from CD Projekt Red and City Interactive.
In development since April 2009, the game features a cyberpunk plot. It draws inspiration from William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, and Philip K. Dick (especially Blade Runner in story). In gameplay, Serious Sam is the main inspiration; explosive barrels and large hordes of enemies will be prominent within the game. There is no multiplayer.

Hard Reset was added into our benchmark suite as it has a handy to use benchmark mode that is very representative of the in-game graphics engine performance.

Mind you that I did not test a GTX 570 just yet with the title, hence a GTX 580 in there.

Very few other results for now, the reference GTX 590, the ASUS Mars II and the EVGA GTX 580 Classified. Regardless, the GTX 560 Ti 448 core certainly holds ground well. If you'd like to replicate the benchmark to compare results with ours, be sure to enable Ultra quality mode and 4xAA. In the future more results for this title will be added, of course.
