Of course, MSI is in da house as well with their slightly pimped out GeForce GTS 450. The version submitted today is the Cyclone OC version. As you guys know, MSI offers these cards for a fraction more money, yet in return you get a custom PCB design, better quality components and of course the Cyclone cooler.

The Cyclone looks like all the other Cyclone models, the sheer dark PCB design with that cooler sitting on top of it. Cooling wise, like all products tested today, the Cyclone does a really nice job. It's virtually soundless and offers maximum temperatures in the 55 Degrees C range, which is just lovely considering the card comes factory overclocked.

On that topic, the factory overclock is set at a 850 MHz core clock frequency, 1700 MHz on the shader domain and a slightly higher memory clock as well at 4000 MHz on the gDDR5 128-bit memory. That will give the GTS 450 / GF106 GPU empowering this card definitely a little more bite.

Connectivity wise it's the same as the others, one 6-pin PEG power cable is needed to AMP it up, you get one SLI connector for 2-way SLI.

Monitors wise you'll spot three connections, HDMI (mini) and two digital DVI monitor connectors. The card obviously comes with Afterburner software to help you overclock it even further. Obviously we'll have a look at that later on in this article.
