Guys, say hello to NVIDIA's youngest, the GeForce 9600 GT. First off, I need to thank jetway for supplying the actual reference model. Cheers guys ! So here we are looking at the NVIDIA reference model. 512MB 256-bit, 650 MHz core clock, 900 MHz memory clock. We'll quickly strawl through the reference model and go a little more in-depth at the board partners cards.

Looks good though, right? A really nice slim design and stunning looks. It comes with single slot cooler which is not too noisy, thank God. Though the cooler looks a lot like the cooler we see on the 8800 GT it does differ here and there. The 9600 GT produces less heat. All NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT, 8800 GT/GTX and GeForce 8800 GTS-based graphics cards are HDCP capable.

At the rear end we'll also stumble onto the 6-pin PSU connector. At full load the card can peak at ~90-95 Watt power consumption.

Here we can see the SLI finger / connector at the top of the PCB. One to be precise, not two as on the flagship GTX models for 3-way SLI.

See, now that's just sexy. Okay it's time to move onward to the board-partner cards. We'll start off with BFG Technologies.
