Before we start the conclusion of this review I really need to remind you guys that this is a budget card, an entry level card, and at this budget it's just doing really well. I say this because the Guru3D audience is very mainstream and high-end oriented. And looking downwards from that perspective, performance like shown today would be laughed at.
Fact is that not everybody can spend more than a 100 USD on a graphics cards to play games. A lot, seriously a LOT of people will play games at 1024x768 or 1280x1024 while refusing to spend more than 100 bucks. Products like these simply offer good value. Whether you like to play games, do a little Blu-ray decoding or just generic PC usage. The framerate "budget" for cards like these is just really good.
With this product Galaxy definitely set a new standard in the budget range of products though. Never have I seen a product in this price-category so pimped up. Excellent clocks, good overclockability, sound and excellent PCB design. Heck they even slapped a custom cooler on top of the product. The end-result is an extraordinary performing and looking product, within it's defined product category. Props to Galaxy for doing so.
This is an entry level product. Expect prices from 60 to 99 USD. And though I'd gladly invest a little more money on my gaming experience with a GeForce 9800 GTX+ or Radeon HD 4850, for under a 100 bucks, this is just not bad folks, not bad at all. Good value.
