The NVIDIA series 7 Graphics card galore...
Three new cards launched at one day.

  • GeForce 7600 GT 256MB
  • GeForce 7900 GT 256MB
  • GeForce 7900 GTX 512MB

Hello everyone and welcome to another GeForce series 7 article. Today the CeBIT in Germany started and most manufacturers would like to present you their hottest and latest gear.

Now quite honestly things are a bit crazy this week. On Monday I got word from NVIDIA that our cards finally were ready to be shipped. On Tuesday (two days before the launch) the entire new product line should be in our office. That's 6 cards as we want to show you some SLI tests also, right?

A couple of minutes after that dialog with NVIDIA our favorite courier dropped by and yes, UPS delivered a package from eVGA. I didn't expect anything from them and quite frankly did not have contact with them for a little while. In fact our last product review from that company was during the GeForce 7800 GT release. So a bit unexpectedly we received a GeForce 7900 GTX 512 MB for a review. So that Monday I dedicated all of my time to a separate 7900 GTX article in their "SuperClock" series. You can read that standalone review right here.

Obviously a severe panic attack hit me when I just realized that ATI would be releasing something on Thursday and yes, they expect that all new Radeon X1800 GTO to be tested when the CeBIT opens to counter NVIDIA's new product launch.

So let's count here. As of Monday I had to review no less than eight new videocards. Therefore forgive me if you see a thing or two (if applicable) copied and pasted regarding the 7900 GTX stand-alone review and this particular article, in which we'll cover the all new GeForce 7600 GT, 7900 GT and 7900 GTX products.

Since time is short and we have such a massive amount to test this article will be a tad different than our usual articles, for that my apologies. I'll try to bring you an extensive an article as possible though.

So this preview/review will cover a batch of NVIDIA's hottest and latest graphics cards. What we'll be looking at today are the following:

  • 2x GeForce 7900 GTX (Single & SLI)
  • 2x GeForce 7900 GT (Single & SLI)
  • 2x GeForce 7600 GT (Single & SLI)

With that being said, allow me to startup this review by talking you through what exactly the new product line entails, the technology, its prices, power consumption, a nice photo shoot, benchmarks, overclocking and of course a verdict on this lovely Brady bunch of products.

Oh who am I kidding this can't be a short article at all, I won't have any sleep this week will I? :)

Hit the next page please where we'll start up this extensive article.
