When we look at the left and right sides, you can see a plethora of buttons. From right to left the first three are OSD navigation buttons (also function as volume buttons). Brightness, power on/off and below you can switch between USB and battery power usage. All the way down below is a Kensington lock.  The bezels are huge and not rather sexy looking. The company however offers much sleeker looking models.

At the other side, you can see a 3.5mm headphone output connector as well as USB, HDMI and VGA connectors. All cables are included. Obviously, you'll want to use that HDMI connector. It's good to see that the unit does not make use of some weird USB solution for display signal, HDMI is as pure as it gets, very widely adopted and obviously will offer good image quality with the display.

To the right, you can see a rubber pad, which is compatible with GeChic's Rear Dock and Multi-Mount Kit. You are looking at a 1.2cm in thickness and dual built-in speakers. The build quality seems good, it's a sturdy yet light enough external display. Easy to carry around, however, I would not be afraid to damage it during transport ina suitcase or laptop bag.

If you look at the photo above, the On-Lap makes use of its out shall case as a stand. At the backside, you'll spot a rubberized magnet to position the kickstand to position it on your desk. Various angles are possible. Personally, I would have liked a flip-cover which works the same, yet is faster to use as then you want to protect the display, right now you'll need to take it out of the casing and reverse into it.
