The only, seriously ONLY, video card manufacturer that was present at the GC was Palit. These guys are everywhere these days, a company to keep an eye on. Also a new partner for Guru3D.com as we'll start a review program with Palit as well.
The picture above and this one is showing the Palit Radeon HD 4870 Sonic Dual Edition and comes with a core frequency of 750 MHz and 512 MBGDDR5 memory at 3.8 GHz. With a flick of the Smart Switch (hard to see, but above there's a small switch) button the card will turbocharge to 4GHz memory speed and 775 MHz core. the card is doing this with the help of a second BIOS.
Above a Radeon HD 4850 Sonic. It has a core frequency of 685 MHz and 2 GHz frequency for its 512 MB of GDDR3 memory and is equipped with customized cooling.
Last photo for Palit, their GeForce 9800 GT. The Palit GeForce 9800 GT SONIC which continues the SONICs pre-overclocked tradition with a 1900MHz memory speed and 650MHz core speed.
Well ... I need to keep you guys entertained right ? Rather mean looks. I think she can kick my ass bigtime, hmmm, I might even allow that.
