At first glance, the GeForce RTX 4070 EX Gamer White edition might not seem strikingly different from its larger RTX 40 Series counterparts by KFA2 and GALAX. However, a closer look reveals subtle distinctions, such as varying fan sizes. NVIDIA has introduced its latest graphics card, the GeForce RTX 4070, which offers high performance at an affordable price for those looking to enhance their gaming and creative experiences. Boasting features like ray tracing, DLSS, and AI-driven enhancements, this graphics card caters to a broad user base seeking a powerful yet budget-friendly solution. The card utilizes the same AD104 silicon as the RTX 4070 Ti, with 46 of 60 streaming multiprocessors activated, yielding 5,888 CUDA cores, compared to the Ti's 7,680. Additionally, it features 46 RT cores, 184 Tensor cores, 184 TMUs, and likely 64 ROPs. Despite a slimmer memory bus, the RTX 4070 includes 12GB of 21Gbps GDDR6X memory across a 192-bit wide memory interface, supplying 504GB/s of memory bandwidth, surpassing even its Ti counterpart.

Oh and given its white design, we dropped our white background for this round. Despite its dimensions, GALAX has crafted a sleek design for the RTX 4070, weighing almost 1.1 kg and implementing a 3-slot configuration required to accommodate the high maximum TDP of around 200 watts with a configurable power limiter.

The model features fan-level LED lights, which we'll show you on the next page, appealing to users who prefer their PC builds discreetly housed in see-through panel based cases. Weighing a mere 1100 grams, the card sports a lightweight design by modern standards. Measuring about 33 centimeters long, the design needs a seamless fit in your chassis, so be sure to check out if it fits.

As NVIDIA phases out the Ampere series, the ADA lineup emerges as its successor, offering faster and competitively priced cards. The GeForce RTX 4070 Founders Edition, with its 5,888 shading cores, surpasses the performance of its predecessor, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. The Panther series, measuring 328.9mm x 128.0mm x 63.5mm, employs a standard ATX PEG single 8-pin power connector and features the usual video output array of three DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1a ports.

The graphics cards incorporate a substantial heatsink connected to a large copper base, encompassing the GPU and memory. To avoid sagging, the cards come with a support plate. While conforming to PCIe Gen 5 specifications, the GeForce RTX 4000 series retains a PCIe Gen 4.0 x16 host interface. The GeForce RTX 4070 is equipped with 12GB of GDDR6
