This is a 100% modular design (including the 24-pin ATX motherboard lead), so it comes with many cables. The design isn't flashy, so it will fit every PC theme. The unit is primarily black, highly textured, and looks scratch-resistant and fingerprint-proof. The complete branding is implemented on the sides, where FSP's logo and the product name are displayed prominently. You will always see the text right side up; its orientation is different on both sides, so whatever side facing the user after installation will always be correct.

The modular cables are not packed in any pouch or bag. In the box, you'll find the following:

  • FSP Dagger Pro 850W PSU
  • Cable set
  • SFX to ATX bracket
  • The user manual
  • Four PSU Screws

Overall, it's an adequate package, and you shouldn't need more. Below, you can find a list of the supplied cables:

Here, you can see the entire bunch. Some of you will enjoy the view. The cables are all black (so they fit most users' needs) ribbon style, and it's a positive side that they do not have in-line capacitors. They are sufficient in terms of number and length for an ITX system, but the fact that both EPS get the power from one socket is not great (but understandable in such a small unit). Two sets of 6+2 pin PCIe cables are included measuring 700 mm. The 24-pin ATX motherboard cable is 50 cm long, whereas the 8-pin ATX CPU leads are 70 cm long. SATA is 550 and 400 mm long, and the Molex lead adds another 100 mm in. These cables are modular, so you won't have to plug in the ones you don't need in your system, reducing cable clutter on your PC. According to the manufacturer, we should find quality components inside, so let's open it up.

This unit delivers enough power for most daily users, as there is a single +12 V rail with a total of 850 W (70.83 A), so the unit should manage even an RTX 3090 Ti.

FSP Dagger Pro looks rather attractive. The top row of the connectors is exclusive to PCI-E and the CPU cables, while the bottom row is for 24-pin motherboard slots. On the other hand, the vertical row houses two ports for peripheral wires, such as the SATA and MOLEX connectors.

There is, of course, an on/off switch, and there is no push-button for disabling/enabling the semi-passive fan operation, which is a pity. Next page, please.
