After removing the thumbscrews (you don’t really need them in daily use), we can open the left side panel. Let’s have a closer look at what’s waiting for us there. Almost everything is black, and the only things that stand out are the rear fan, and the slightly showing front fans.

Three (one more than in the regular Define S2) SSDs can be mounted on the PSU shroud. That’s nice, especially given that you can route the cables through a grommet.

You can install your SSD/HDDs in the rear part of the chassis. There are three places for that on the left side, with dedicated and enclosed cages. They’re secured with thumbscrews. Additionally, you can mount two SSDs in brackets just below the backplate cut-out.

It’s a rather average chassis in terms of size, but you can fit big components inside. This case supports graphics cards up to 440 mm in length, and CPU coolers up to 185 mm in height. Liquid cooling enthusiasts might feel that this is an extraordinary product, as it’s possible to mount a combo of radiators of up to 360 + 360 + 240 + 120 mm (to be fair, the regular Define S2 trumps that, as it could house 420 + 360 + 280 + 120 mm radiators).
