The R6 does not come with a fan controller, however, the guys do include a fan HUB. It can hold six 3-pin fans and three 4-pin fans. The unit powers the fans through a SATA connector, the PWM (RPM) is controlled by your motherboard and thus your own preference. For that only one wire leads toward your motherboard. That means this solution saves you a lot of visible cable clutter.

Right, let's build us a system. Nothing out of the ordinary, I opted for an AMD Ryzen platform for a change. The Gigabyte motherboard is the Aorus Gaming 5 which we pair with an 8-core processor. The processor and motherboard are however irrelevant to this build of course.

It is a sheer mess of cables at this stage of the build, but there is plenty of space to route your wires/cables etc.

At the bottom, we have now mounted the PSU. The reach and size of any PSU would be plentiful relative to space and room for cable clutter hiding. You just slide it in through the left side and secure it with four screws. The PSU fan heads downwards and the unit rests on rubberized inserts.

There is plenty of clearance everywhere, the first check, yes it works. We're also have added a LED strip at the top of the chassis (not included). That said and done, we need to mount a graphics card vertically eh?
