These brackets can also hold a 2.5" SSD, then on the bottom side you need to secure it with four mounting screws. It's a very simply solution really, but there's nothing wrong with simple as long as it's functional and effective. And it certainly works just fine. You can house a luxurious six 3.5/2.5 drives. And should you need more space, the upper drive bay is removable as well.

Here we have the 5.25" optical drive locks, again a very simple mechanism. Once the DVD-ROM or whatever unit is inserted, align the screw holes and secure them with thumbscrews. You can install up-to two 5.25" devices.

And we are looking at the bottom here, we see that the chassis rests on rubber mounts, this prevents resonating noises coming from the PC, and makes your chassis more silent. In the middle again a mesh for a FAN.

And there you have it, the Fractal Design Core 3000 chassis. Elegant, simple and definitely feature rich for a mid-tower chassis. Let's head into the conclusion.
