Here are the system requirements for Forspoken, so you know exactly what kind of setup you need. If you're using an older Nvidia GeForce GTX GPU, you can still play the game, but you might not get the best graphics. The specs are divided into three categories: Minimum, Recommended, and Ultra. However, there is no example settings provided, so it's hard to balance visuals and frame rate. To run Forspoken, you'll need a GPU that's similar to the GTX 1060 and a CPU of either Intel Core i7 3770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, along with 16GB RAM. If you want to enjoy the game to its fullest, you'll need to aim for the recommended specs, which include an RTX 3070 graphics card, Intel Core i7-7800K CPU, and 24GB RAM. This will allow you to play at 1440p 30fps.

Ultra system requirements (4K / 60fps)

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5800X / Intel Core i7-12700
• RAM: 32GB
• OS: Windows 10 64-bit / Windows 11 64-bit
• Storage: 150GB NVMe SSD

All modern cards but the RX 7900 XT/XTX were tested with Radeon driver version 22.11.2, as the 7900 series has its own January driver. The NVIDIA GeForce drivers used are version 528.24. There is a built-in benchmark tool that allows users to measure frame rates easily. Although representative of the game performance, it is rather heavy, though, so we used an in-game scene.

Forspoken is an action-packed RPG game where you play as Frey Holland, a street-smart young woman who finds herself in the mystical world of Athia. With a rough past from growing up in New York City, Frey has faced many challenges, but now she faces a new kind of danger in Athia where monsters roam and magic is real. As Frey, you'll use your newfound magical powers to fight off the frightening creatures and the all-powerful Tantas who rule over the land. The goal is to find a way back home, but to do that, Frey must navigate through this strange new world filled with adventure and peril. Things take a turn for the unexpected when she’s magically transported to Athia, a land where fantasies and nightmares are suddenly very real. Playing as Frey, you’ll need to harness newly discovered magical abilities to battle the terrifying monsters that inhabit the land. To have a chance of returning home, she’ll also have to contend with the Tantas — destructive and twisted all-powerful matriarchs who have dominion over Athia.
