FCAT Generic Results

So on this page a handful of single GPU results okay? These are generic Frametime and Percentile results based on the Radeon HD 7950 Boost with charts as explained.

You'll notice that BioShock actually is a tough nut to crack. You'll see that the R7950 (Boost version) on the percentile chart shows an average FPS (at 50%) is ~35 FPS. If you look that up in our recent Bioshock VGA perf article (right here) that is actually spot on. But you'll also notice that 5% of the framerate is at roughly 25 FPS. That's the beauty of these charts. 

Now when we look at the Frametime chart we indeed see erratic behaviour, (this behaviour is the same for both NV and AMD BTW) the R7950 really is doing a fairly okay job, no weird spikes. The chart scaling simply is off. Making this chart look a bit weird.

Let's try another game, Hitman Absolution. 

This one is interesting. With Fraps this chart (Frametime) would have looked insane really. This is much more in line with what you can and may expect. So these charts are all pretty easy to cope with, right?
