Far Cry 6 (2021)
PC graphics performance review and analysis with 40 GPUs

In conjunction with Ubisoft and AMD, we'll be testing Far Cry 6 with 40 different graphics cards and technologies such as the shading engine, Raytracing, and FSR, the latter one can be used with both NVIDIA and GeForce graphics cards. Performance on the PC platform will be evaluated in terms of graphics card performance, with the latest AMD Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards, among other things, being used to evaluate the game's performance. Far Cry 6 will take place in "Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time," according to the developers. Dani Rojas will be the main character with whom we will be interacting. Dani must join a guerrilla group and battle to free his country from the dictator Anton Castillo, who, along with his son Diego, is attempting to seize power via bloodshed. Apart from that, Yara is set to become the largest Far Cry landscape ever created, with forests and beaches, as well as the capital city "Esperanza," which will feature an extensive array of attractions for players to explore. To clarify, that is Giancarlo Esposito, who you may recognize from the television shows Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul:)

AMD sponsored the game in this round, and it shows, as the game works exceptionally well on Radeon graphics cards from this manufacturer. In addition to that, Raytracing and FSR are supported for both Radeon and GeForce graphics cards, respectively (it is an open standard). The system requirements, with the exception of those for Windows 10/11, are still rather low. Only those who wish to view all of the visual effects in their highest possible quality will require a recent PC and, in particular, a graphics card that is capable of ray tracing, such as the GeForce RTX series or a Radeon Series 6000 or newer graphics card.

As stated this is an AMD title, and the new Adrenalin 21.10.1 driver is going to help you boost performance to proper framerates. On NVIDIAs side, the driver released last week GeForce Game Ready 472.12 already contained FC6 specific optimizations and was the driver of choice used. Many graphics cards are being tested and benchmarked.  You are going to need a reasonably modern PC with at least a mainstream graphics card to run the game nicely.  This article will cover benchmarks in the sense of average framerates, we'll look at all popular resolutions scaling from Full HD (1920x1080), WQHD (2560x1440), and of course Ultra HD. UHDTV (3840x2160) pixels which is four times as many pixels as 1920x1080.  We test with the game based on the optimized and available AMD Radeon driver (download) and for Nvidia their GeForce WHQL driver (download). We'll test the game on the PC platform relative to graphics card performance with the AMD/NVIDIA graphics card drivers.
