PC System Requirements

The game will only require relatively contemporary hardware to operate well. To meet the required requirements, we anticipate that the game will require a Core i5 9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X CPU, as well as an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti or AMD RX 590 graphics card. To run the game on Windows, you will need at least 8GB of RAM, system memory, with 16 being preferred. Given that most recent AAA titles are 50 GB or greater, we recommend that gamers purchase a bigger hard drive. Even this title requires 80 GB of free space, and this size will only grow to support high-quality graphics and other features.

F1 22 Minimum Requirements

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: AMD FX 4300 or Intel Core i3-2130
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • GPU: AMD RX 470 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

Raytracing

Even without raytracing, the aesthetics of F1 2022 are hardly improved; RT adds a feeling of photorealism. Codemasters take Raytracing features further in F1 2022, introducing ray tracing reflections, ambient occlusion, and shadows. All RT effects influence the bolides and the surrounding environment and may be seen from a long distance. Ray-traced shadows will surely help F1 2022 seem more realistic, but as we have seen, they will reduce performance massively. You might want to deactivate it and stick with conventional rasterized features, which are, to be honest, fairly excellent.

DLSS

Nvidia's AI upsampling DLSS has already been patched into the F1 2020 version. Of course, this feature is available for Geforce RTX graphics cards in F1 2022. The EGO engine uses the most contemporary DLSS version, which provides good and smear-free results for F1 2022. One thing to notice is that we can now select a DLSS mode selection in F1 2022, e.g. DLSS Quality should be selected at all times.

FidelityFX Super Resolution (AMD)

FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) and thus the technology that competes with DLSS are now also available. Unfortunately, EA did it all wrong; FSR 1.0 is supported only. Maybe, someone can persuade Codemasters to include AMD's FSR 2.0 upscaling as well— it's said to take only 15 minutes of coding to implement.

VR

The PC game has many accessibility options, such as an adaptive AI that adapts races to fit your performance. Furthermore, F1 22 is VR-compatible on PC, so you can put on a VR headset and experience what it's like to drive an F1 vehicle at breakneck speeds.

Plot (wiki)

F1 22 is a racing video game published by EA Sports and developed by Codemasters. It is the sixteenth installment in Codemasters' F1 series. The game is licensed to the 2022 Formula One and Formula 2 championships. On July 1, 2022, the game was launched on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It would also make its debut on EA's Origin platform as their main platform, and would be playable on both the EA Desktop app and the Epic Games Store. Previously, Steam was the only platform available to PC gamers. F1 22 incorporates new vehicle models with modified dynamics according to new technical restrictions for the 2022 Formula One World Championship.  The game also includes an updated track list, which includes new layouts for the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the Spanish Grand Prix, Yas Marina Circuit for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and Albert Park Circuit for the Australian Grand Prix, as well as the new Miami International Autodrome for the new Miami Grand Prix. The Algarve International Circuit, which hosts the Portuguese Grand Prix, and the Shanghai International Circuit, which hosts the Chinese Grand Prix, were later added to the game via an update.

The game also includes Formula One sprints, a new feature to the sport. F1 22 has adaptive AI, which adjusts the pace of AI vehicles according on player performance to keep players competitive from race to race. The game also adds F1 Life, a customizable center area that allows players to gather supercars, apparel, and accessories. It has also been announced that the game will support virtual reality on PC through Oculus Rift or HTC Vive virtual reality headsets. In addition to immersive broadcast choices modeled by televised Formula One broadcasts, F1 22 includes interactive pit stops.
