As standard in our processor and motherboards reviews, a couple of screenshots taken with CPU-Z. Here you can observe the more prominent memory and processor features, voltages, multipliers and clocks. At this stage the Core i7 965 we used is clocked completely default, no overclock.
Should you still have any doubt, yes we are testing the eVGA X58 SLI classified ;)
Our memory timings are not setup properly (maximum) just yet. But as sweet spot we always use a CAS9 / 1600 MHz memory / 1T configuration.

Tagged with a 299 USD sales price this motherboard seem to be very impressive. But since it's eVGA, they decided that this motherboard should be all about overclocking, and nothing else. We'll cover the motherboard from A to Z, and to spice it up a little I'll slap on some water-cooling and overclock our processor towards 4.2 GHz, stable.
