Below an overview of the cables but here let's look at the stuff that's going on underneath the power on button. These are DIP switches and allow you to configure the voltage rails and other stuff:

Position 1 - Turn on PSu w/o motherboard
Position 2 - Enable OC mode (1650W / requires 230Volts)
Position 3 - Enable 12 +12V Single Rail operation
Position 4 - Force Fan 100%
Position 5 - Enable user DIP switches

When it comes to wiring we feel that there are MORE then enough connectors for this model, have a look at the supplied connectors, all with great length by the way.

The ATX motherboard connector is 80CM, the Molex and SATA power cables 70 to 90CM, the 8-pin CPU ATX power connector is at a great length of roughly 80cm and the PCIe graphics connectors reach a lovely 90 cm as well. Nice.

An industrial power cable is supplied, that does look a bit geeky though. Some like it others will dislike that. Then again at 1500+ Watt... you want a proper power cable alright.

Here's one of the test systems we connected the PSU towards. If you think it's blasphemy to use an MSI card there. Sorry, the EVGA cards have been returned to the EVGA offices recently. Ah well, this is an impression that shows the nice cabling.

Seriously... nice is the keyword here. Individually sleeved cables rock. I have no doubt that all the cabling alone here is worth 100 USD alone.
