A meet and greet with a new Revolution (2)

When it comes to wiring, we get a smile on our face, have a look at the supplied connectors:

Native connectors:

  • 24-pin EATX (split) (12V1)
  • EPS 8-pin  (12V2)
  • EPS  8-pin (4p+4p) (12V2)
  • 1 x 6+2 PEG  (12V3)
  • 1 x 6+2 PEG (12V3)
  • Fan cable

Modular connectors:

  • 2 x 6+2 PEG (12V5 )
  • 2 x 6+2 PEG (12V5 or 6)
  • 3 x 4-pin Molex
  • 2 x 4-pin Molex, 1x floppy
  • 4 x SATA (12V4)
  • 4 x SATA  (12V6)
  • 4 x SATA (12V4 or 6)

The peripheral connectors like Molex again start at 50 CM / 20" and end at 80 CM.

It's nearly silly to see at total of six 6+2 PEG (PCIe graphics) connectors on this power supply, we definitely like that. Two native, and four modular. Whatever SLI or Crossfire combo you have in mind, you are good to go here.

We see nicely sleeved cabling with red colored connectors. That's a good design. The cables have a proper nice length. Though I would like to see the cables sleeved in black and the connectors colored black as well. But that is purely for aesthetic reasons of course.

Last photo, here we can observe power distribution as labelled on the PSU. The six 12V rails certainly keep impressing me.
