So here we have the packaging and bundle, as along with the PSU comes a pouch to store your cables in. We see all modular cables as explained on page two of this review, some Velcro tie wraps, four screws, manual and a small bent piece of iron, which is a CortGuard - it fixes the AC cord tightly to the PSU preventing the cable from being pulled out by accident. Simple yet incredible handy. The PSU inside is packaged nicely and protected in carton.

After unpacking, not a dent, scratch or even fingerprint smudge was to be seen on the product. Matt finish, nice black and gold theme. Gold obviously synonymous to the 80 plus Gold certification. Here we have the PSU seen from a front view perspective, lovely big mesh at the front side for optimal ventilation. The overall design and color schema really works out for this editor.

The rear side perspective is showing the native motherboard cabling and seven modular connectors. Size wise you are looking at a standard size ATX PSU. Very convenient as you can easily locate the PSU in pretty much any size ATX compatible PC chassis.

The fan is just awesome. Completely silent, yet high performance and it just looks great with the golden glossy design. It is a 14cm Twister bearing fan with low noise and long lifetime. Conventional Ball & Sleeve bearing technologies and their derivates use oil to stabilize their respective bearing during rotation. Oil evaporates and deteriorates in quality over time in any mechanical design.

Enermax is using magnets instead of oil to stabilize the bearing to create 'Twister' bearing fans. Without the friction and traction of oil-based bearings, the fans are able to run quieter. The absence of oil also allows higher ambient temperatures and longer lifetime.
