With 625 Watts the PSU actually falls into the high-end category though Enermax markets it as a mid-range series. Although not exactly Kilowatt material, it most certainly is capable enough of running a dedicated high-end PC. Especially when you realize that Enermax always makes sure your power supply can have a higher peak wattage, this 625 Watt model for example can take 690 Watts. Enermax products never fail to disappoint in that aspect.
Included in the package you'll receive:
- Modu82+ II power supply
- Power cable
- Modular cables
- CordGuard
- Manual
- Cable tie
Here's a handy overview of included modular cables based on model number.
If memory serves me right the PSU is not actually SLI certified, but regardless of that obviously it can easily take any SLI/Crossfire ready gear. We'll actually use 5 (!) GPUs today and they all work fine.
On the 625W model you'll receive no less than four 6/8-pin (DXX) headers for graphics cards and that is more than sufficient for any 2-way multi-GPU setup, especially with 25 Amps available on each of the three 12v rails.
But let's go to the next page and talk about efficiency for a bit...
