Here we have the Vardar 120 mm high static pressure fans. You get three of these, all 120 mm and PWM based as stated. Overall these are very good fans regulated by your motherboard CPU FAN header or fan controller. We'll show the installation of all components on the next few pages though.

Basically we'll be mounting the fans towards the radiator and then hook them up towards the splitter cable shown above, so we can make use of just one PWM regulated header from your motherboard. The other wire holds two LEDs, fur a little extra bling effect of course. Included as well are all fittings (EK-ACF Fitting 10/13 mm) which we'll mount on the CPU cooling block, the radiator and the coolant reservoir.

Here we have the cooling block bottom side, it is machined with a copper base made from very pure copper and then was further polished towards a mirror finish. Now check that reflection of the Allen key -- that's what we call a mirror lapped finish! As the results will show, the performance really is good as you'll find out soon enough.

One of the more expensive units in the kit is the inclusion of a D5 pump/reservoir. This is the EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 PWM (incl.pump). You can mod it a little, remove the EK logo on the reservoir and replace it with a filter or run some non-flexi tube/pipe upwards into the reservoir. We'll just leave it default for now. Also included is a EK-UNI Pump Bracket, this will help us mount the D5 vertically in the chassis. The Pump can be PWM regulated and is silent. Once you cram over 50% voltage in it it however could even function as a pond with a fountain, it is that powerful. The only remark I have is the power wiring/cabling attached to it. You probably want to spray-paint that black or sleeve it.
