Here we have the EK monoblock is based o EK's Matrix7 design tailored for new LGA 1700 socket CPUs. The block is connected to the pre-installed heatsinks through thermal pads and cools the VRM heatsink directly.

The block has a 3-pin 5V Addressable D-RGB LED strip that connects to the motherboard's 3-pin 5V Addressable D-RGB LED header. The arrow on the 3-pin LED connector should correspond to the +5V marking on the addressable D-RGB header. The MSI MAG Z690 Torpedo includes a strong VRM with sixteen intelligent power stages rated at up to 70A each. This provides the exact and consistent currents required for extreme overclocking on your Intel 12th generation CPU.

The kit holding motherboard and block costs 399 EUR. While that is a lot of money we do deem it to be a reasonable amount of money for what you receive ...

EK also provided us with a Quantum Power Kit D-RGB 360, which we used to put together a fantastic liquid cooling setup. That is the most significant constraint, of course; you'll need a good water cooling loop to which you can connect the mono block in order to maximize performance. In addition, these might be rather costly.

It's been a while since I've utilized a proper water cooling loop, but it was a fun construction experience. We'll be utilizing a test bench large enough to accommodate a liquid cooler as the 360 radiator and reservoir of course take up some real estate.
