EK AIO 240 D-RGB Liquid cooler

We test and review the EK AIO 240 D-RGB, an all-in-one liquid cooling kit from EK that can be bought in a dandy design with versions running up-to a 360mm rad. The kits come with Vardar RGB / aRGB compatible fans (with the “a” in aRGB standing for addressable). Being EK, we do expect some decent cooling performance; armed with the fans, sleeved tubing and a pretty snazzy looking cooling block, we'll see what EK has to offer in the massive LCS kit arena.

These liquid cooling kits are pre-fitted with a single non-expandable loop and are ready to install straight out of the box, you pop the fans on there and it's ready to go in. Armed with pretty nice looks, sleeved tubing and an attractive price, EK offers a competitive model in the massive LCS kit arena. The newly updated coolers feature an aRGB-accented pump face with a cooling block pump based on an SPC line pump

The EK AIO 240 D-RGB is an all-in-one liquid cooling solution for desktop PCs and is available in 120mm, 240mm, and 360mm versions. The 240mm kit that we test is a self-contained (AIO) CPU cooling unit based on liquid cooling. It does not require much setup installation. With a pump and radiator shipped pressure tested, it is pre-filled and sealed directly from the factory to provide maintenance-free operation for years. This ease of use extends to its support of the latest Intel and AMD sockets, including the latest Intel LGA 1155/1156/2011 and AMD FM2 sockets, as well as AM4 for Ryzen but not Threadripper processors. The series is equipped with a high-density water microchannel and copper finish block to offer efficient thermal conduction along with a proper radiator to maximize cooling performance. The unit is compatible with popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers.
