Obviously we also had to peek at memory bandwidth performance. Now, obviously Intel has an advantage here, triple-channel memory. This explains the tremendous amount of read performance for the Core i7 platform. In dark orange the baseline results at 1333 MHz C9- Then the orange bar above it is the same default clocks, yet now we activated the XMP profile and activate 2200 MHZ CAS7.
And then all the way on top is the system overclocked on the Baseclock + 2200 MHz CAS7 on the memory.
