ECS H67H2-I Mini-ITX motherboard

With the updated B3 revision of the Intel P67 and H67 chipsets Sandy Bridge motherboards are slowly but steadily filling up the stores again.

One name we still need to perform some reviews for is ECS in regards to the 67 series chipset, and good gawd do they have the cutest little H67 based motherboard you've ever seen.

It's a Mini-ITX based motherboard that's 17x17 cm (!), pop in a Core i7 2600 and you'll have one of the fastest systems your money can get you (baseline performance that is), as such we have tested this product with an everlasting smile on our faces. The H67H2-I motherboard is petit like a baby, yet oozes with features including SATA 6G, USB 3.0, a x16 PCIe slot for high-end graphics, HDMI, DVI, DSUB, 8-channel audio and all that on this passively cooled cute little motherboard.

In this review you'll notice that this 100 EUR piece of machinery is just as fast as its bigger brother, armed with a Core i7 2600 it will leave most processors far behind it in terms of performance.

Are there downsides? Sure, overclocking is not really an option and your memory is limited to 2 DIMM slots in dual-channel mode up-to 1333 MHz.

But my man...  this thing idles at 38 Watts, and when that Sandy Bridge processor kicks in, you'll have no idea what's coming straight at you in terms of raw unadulterated performance.

Have a peek at the ECS H67H2-I motherboard, and then let's head into the full review.
