As always we start with the packaging -- well, everything is packaged, cushioned and bundled safely in the box. Let's rip that packaging open.
Once opened up you'll spot the liquid cooling unit consisting of the radiator, fan, tubing, pump/cooling block. Mostly pre-fitted and ready to use of course. Everything is carefully packaged and individually wrapped in plastic.
You'll spot a backplate that supports a wide variety of CPU sockets; Intel LGA 2011 / 1366 / 1156 / 1155 / 1150 / 775 and AMD Socket FM2 / FM1 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2 based processors can be used in combination with this cooler. That's extensive socket support alright.
Included are:
- Liquid CPU Cooler
- Mounting kit for all modern CPU sockets
- Two High Performance Fans
- Fan and radiator mounting screws
- Thermal compound prepped to copper base
- Quick Start Guide
- PWM Fan HUB
So summed up, once unboxed you'll spot the cooling unit consisting of the radiator assembly, fans and brackets + backplate that supports a very wide range of AMD and Intel processors. We do have some work cut out for us as we need to mount the fans and cooling block retention clips.
Here we have the Maelstrom base unit, we'll need to mount the two variable PWM fans (each 120mm), with the pump and radiator assembled in one single unit. Both fans are pre-wired on one connector and are controlled from a RPM/PWM controller on your motherboard.

Deepcool CH510 chassis review
This time, we’re checking out a (theoretically) high-cooling, performance-oriented mid-sized ATX tower PC chassis –a Deepcool CH510. It looks almost the same as the other Deepcools products; I mean the CG560 and Deepcool CK560, which were already reviewed on guru3d (in November 2021 and April 2022). The front panel looks slightly different (as it’s closed this time), but that’s not a significant change (still – not the best that could have been done). Let’s check if there are other things as well.
