DeepCool LS720 (LCS) review - Product Showcase

The LS720 comes with three fans, all of which have a translucent fan blade for the RGB lighting, dampening material on the sides of the fan to reduce vibration that could potentially cause any unwanted noise, and what appears to be a proprietary connector that can be daisy-chained to reduce cable clutter.

Daisy-chaining the cables is a great idea for cable management on a test bench as well as in a true PC build because it keeps the cords neat and clean. However, as it turned out, at the other end of the cable there's still a lot of wiring to deal with. We'll show you that later on though.

When we flip it around we see the radiator a little better. Easy to mount, most big-tower chassis' have pre-fitted holes and space for 360mm rads, but not all of them. Fortunately, you can choose from three radiator sizes. The radiator is matte black.

The core AIO unit makes use of DeepCool's 4th Gen Pump, which has an upgraded microchannel and a more powerful 3-phase motor, so if you're upgrading from a previous-generation DeepCool AIO liquid cooler, you should actually notice an increase in performance. It also includes a copper cold plate with pre-applied thermal paste, so you can install it right away without worrying about how much thermal paste to apply (for now). BTW we do advise swapping out and replacing thermal paste at least every two years.

The tubing ports can also be rotated to achieve the hoses' best possible alignment. The latter is constructed of rubber and sheathed in glossy black nylon material bringing a more premium feel. These are roughly 40 cm in length, which is plenty. Copper is used in the construction of the base plate.

The DeepCool anti-leak indicated on the box can be seen on the top right side of the radiator. It is pressure release-based design assists the AIO in achieving automated pressure balance in the loop and improving the unit's operation safety. DeepCool also supplied a set of brackets to retain the tubes in place and tidy up your system.

Radiator size then, it's a bit longer than expected, but measures in at 420x120x27mm. Please do check that the radiator will fit inside your chassis. The alternative route is of course a smaller unit.

Deepcool AK400 air cooler review
Today, we are reviewing an air cooler from Deepcool; it’s an AK400. The AK400 is from the same family as the AK620 (a dual-tower cooler). The previous product of this type (air cooler) covered was the AS500, tested back at the end of 2020. It was so good (it earned the “Approved” award) that it stayed as a part of the chassis test suite. This time around, it’s also a single tower design cooler, with a four heat pipe tower layout, a unique matrix fin design, and a high-performance FDB fan that should provide excellent heat dissipation and low noise levels.

Deepcool CK560 chassis review
This time, we’re checking out the Deepcool CK560, an airflow-oriented mid-sized ATX tower PC chassis. I had an almost instant deja-vu when I saw the first materials about it. Why’s that? It looks almost exactly the same as the other Deepcool (previously also named GamerStorm) product, I mean the CG560, which I had in my hands for a review. Well, the front panel looks a bit different, but that’s not a significant change. Let’s check the other things as well.
