Specifications and Features

Ok then, the DeepCool Killer Whale cooler. An exotic shaped and bulky sized CPU cooler with six heatpipes; they quickly conduct heat from the processor to protect it from overheating during stressful situations. Although this review sample that EverCool sent us is nickel-plated with a copper base block, another fully copper-plated version is about to hit the market. Why copper? The answer is simple; it improves heat conduction and offers better cooling efficiency than the other common metals, such as aluminum or nickel.

Specifications

  • Compatibility: Intel version: LGA775, LGA1156, LGA1366; AMD version: Socket AM2/AM2+/AM3/K8
  • Weight: 1,225g
  • Size (mm): 154.5 x 143 x 143.5 (W x D x H)

Quite a long feature list, I might add. Lets move on into the product gallery in order to capture the Killer Whale.
