Dazzling to watch eh? The genome has a bit of an intrusive design. Despite the dandy looks the front bezel is plastic with that helix fitted. You might find it a gimmick, others will like it. The body is fabbed out of black ABS sheet metal. Albeit not the sturdiest chassis we've tested this does make the chassis relatively light in weight. The has a modest size of 506x210x50mm. Motherboard form factors supported are: ATX, microATX, Mini-ITX. Yes, the maximum motherboard size that'll fit is ATX and thus XL or EATX is not supported. A bit of a bummer really as with so much cooling you'd probably go X99 and these motherboards are often a notch bigger as in eATX. So be careful and keep that in mind with your purchase.

At the backside we see seven expansion slots. To the right of that you can see two extra slots for vertical mounting of a VGA card. Unfortunately a riser is not included in the package and is sold as optional. Basically you'd mount the graphics card vertically like it would be floating inside that chassis. Too bad it's an option as it would have made this chassis extremely special and more niche. All the way below we see the PSU section. PSU wise, you name it, it'll fit, as we'll show you later on.

At the top the front panel connectivity can be found, including a new USB 3.0 other then that, the usual suspects are here. Also at the left side behind the panel there is a micro-switch to enable/disable the LED lighting system.

Ventilation is certainly not an issue, then again there's a massive 360 rad hidden under there so yea we'll need a bit of airflow alright. Pre-installed is the liquid cooling system, including a 360mm radiator, 3 PWM fans (tied to a fan HUB) and a reservoir. Then at the rear there's another fan installed. The frontside does not have a fan installed, but the four active fans suck in so much air that the airflow is plentiful really.
