So here is the phase where we slowly start assembling a test setup. Included is all you need, and we consider the mounting kit to be among best in the business. It is easy and hassle-free to install.

Mounting the cooler is a very easy thing to do, the mounting kit is sturdy, handy and really easy to install. Though the motherboard probably needs to come out of the chassis unless due to the size of the cooler. Now you first prepare and insert the backplate Socket 115x in our case.

At the other side secure the mounting mechanism with rise screws (plastic protection sides go downwards to protect the PCB. BTW we still need to clean the CPU here, don't worry :-)

We then need to install two retention clips on the risers screws which we secure with thumbscrews. The cooler is now ready to be seated. I LOVE detail and look what DeepCool did, that stamped the CPU direction on there as well as the right holes to use per socket. When you see stuff like that you KNOW the company has gone through great length and detail to get things right.

Aside from cleaning the CPU and applying TIM, the processor is now ready to put on its hat, yeah the cooler.
