So we test the Assassin III. The cooler is packaged well, cushioned and bundled safely in the box. Everything is clearly labeled. Included is an accessory box.
Once unboxed you'll spot the cooling unit consisting of the heatsink assembly, fan and brackets + backplate that support a very wide range of AMD and Intel processors. A little thermal paste is included as well. Also included is a special screwdriver to mount the unit, we'll show you why later on in the article.
Amongst the kit you will find:
- 2x premium fan
- Low-Noise Adaptors
- Fan clips for two second fan
- high-grade thermal compound + alcohol swipte and TIM spreader
- Mounting Kit
- Case-Badge
Above the cooler uses seven copper-based (nickel-plated) heatpipes arranged in a U-shape design with the fan sitting in between the copper fins (nickel-plated) effectively dispersing heat away from the CPU via composite heat-pipes, the middle fan quickly cools the fins for stable operation of high performance CPUs.
The included backplate and mounting kit support a wide variety of CPU sockets. Intel LGA 115x, 1366, 2011 and AMD AM2, AM3, AM4, FM1, FM2 based processors can be used in combination with this cooler. The fan can be used in PWM mode controlled by your motherboard. Overall you should be able to easily fit the cooler without blocking anything related to the motherboard including most DIMM modules. Include are two Low-Noise Adaptors for even lower fan RPM operation, in our findings, you'll not need them.
You'll get some thermal paste, n alcohol wipe to clean the heat spreader of the CPU as well as a P-Card, you could use to event smear out a thin layer of TIM onto that very same heat spreader.
We review the Deepcool AK500 PLUS. The design, functionality, and performance of this CPU cooler are all superb. It is easy to classify as a top-tier mainstream air cooler due to its powerful cooli...

Deepcool CH510 chassis review
This time, we’re checking out a (theoretically) high-cooling, performance-oriented mid-sized ATX tower PC chassis –a Deepcool CH510. It looks almost the same as the other Deepcools products; I mean the CG560 and Deepcool CK560, which were already reviewed on guru3d (in November 2021 and April 2022). The front panel looks slightly different (as it’s closed this time), but that’s not a significant change (still – not the best that could have been done). Let’s check if there are other things as well.
DeepCool LS720 (LCS) review
DeepCool has returned with a new liquid cooler that we found to be nothing short of outstanding in terms of cooling performance. We review the 360mm version tagged LS720....
