Product showcase – the packaging
The entire package weighs almost 10 kg, and it’s relatively small. With cut-outs on the side, there were no problems with handling it all. It’s a simple, brown box. The specs are listed on the side of the pack. And what is awaiting us inside the box?
The chassis is nicely protected with Styrofoam, and that definitely helped during shipping. There’s also a plastic bag to prevent scratches or fingerprints.
No damage occurred in transport, and the tempered glass panel was all good. As for the chassis itself, the Deepcool CL500 has a rather attractive look at first glance. It’s a mid-size chassis, measuring 473 x 226 x 519 mm (L x W x H) which amounts to a total of 55.48l, and that’s a rather big number for this type of chassis (the Macube 310 had about 45 liters).
Inside, you’ll find a user guide, cable ties, case screws and metal bits (for child protection), and some foam pads. Let’s proceed to the evaluation of the exterior.
