Performance System Memory: Memory Read Test
For our memory tests are split up into copy, write, and latency. DDR5 offers tons of memory bandwidth, however, at CL40 the latency is currently rather big. In other reviews, we've used a CL38 kit from Corsair (Dominator) and this one is rated 6000 CL36. We'll be testing several frequencies trying to find our sweet spot.
Below the results charted up at 4800/5200/6000 MHz, we're also adding 3200 MHz / CL36 and overclocked 6200 Mhz CL36 to paint a clear picture of the effect of memory frequency. Also included are our default 5200 Mhz CL40 results as used in previous reviews. And as you will observe latency matters.
