Temperature Measurements
During our test benchmarks stress tests with an extremely high-stress workload, we monitor the SSD temperature. We test SSDs in their default configuration, which means if a heatsink is not supplied, it'll be tested like that.
Above the temperatures reported back from the sensor. It always is a little questionable as to what the sensor is reporting. In this case NAND close to the controller. Below you can find a thermal image with the SSD writing at max perf.
