SSD Performance HD Tune PRO

HD Tune Pro (IOPS)

HD Tune Pro is a hard disk utility and benchmarking utility for Windows. This tiny application allows you to scan your hard drives for errors or take a deeper look at several performance figures coming from the storage unit. The quick stress test shows very nice values (numbers are noted in averages).

What you see above is incredibly good linear performance.

I've also run some additional workload testing to see if we can further expose the TLC/QLC write gap. Suffice to say, the 32GB SLC buffer deals with it really well, see above.

IOPS then, (Input/Output Operations Per Second, pronounced eye-ops) is a performance measurement used to characterize computer storage devices like hard disk drives (HDD), solid-state drives (SSD), and storage area networks (SAN). IOPS numbers published by storage device manufacturers do not relate to real-world application performance, it does, however, create a metric of how many operations per second the storage unit is capable of.
