The product is available in three colour versions of the heat spreader, and there are also versions with LEDs. The RAM comes packed in a sleek-looking, dark-blue box.

Information about capacity and frequency is printed on the front of the pack, along with some more data on the product itself on the backside (as well as a mention of the lifetime warranty).

Let’s check what’s inside.

And… you can see the modules secured (tightly) with a plastic cover. The looks are very classic and unobtrusive, but that’s not a bad thing. Of course, the radiators are integrated with the PCB by means of an adhesive pad on each side, and dismantling them would require using significant strength (or heating up with a hairdryer for a longer period), so I did not do this and do not recommend it either (as it would void the warranty).

Here is what it looks like after unpacking. These are four 16 GB modules running at 3200 MHz. You can see the black PCB here, and also the name of the brand in the upper-middle part of the module. The aluminium heat spreader has a matte finish. The stickers tell you that it is a double kit of 2 x 16 GB modules operating at 3200 MHz, with CL16, at 1.35 Volts. This should be more than enough for the typical user/gamer, even if you process video or graphics. For optimal performance, we recommend sticking to the settings from the preconfigured XMP profile.

There’s a Ballistix logo on the top of the heatspreader.

The total height of the stick is about 38.4 mm/1.51 inch. That’s a low-profile module, so you shouldn’t have problems with air coolers but, as always, we recommend double-checking whether any clearance issues won’t occur before you buy this set.

The weight of a module is 41 g.
