The wired control pod with top-mounted power, volume-down, volume-up, select, and upmix buttons. Upmix toggles between three modes: off, 5.1 to 7.1, and 6.1 to 7.1. Headphone and auxiliary audio input jacks at the front of the module, accompanied by a USB-like M-Port jack for connecting Creative labs devices.
The box is small and visually shows its stuff through LEDs. We'd rather have seen a more informative text or numeric display.
The included remote control, all the important functions are there.
The satellites can be wall mounted or left freestanding either as they are or with the addition of the supplied stands.
Here we see such a stand. The major downside of them is that there's only one position. You can't alter it higher or lower. One angle only.
