Conclusionrounddefault-creative-gw-s7.jpgThe Gigaworks 7.1 by itself are truly good speakers, in my opinion even the best 7.1 computer speakers to date that I've run into, why you ask? No one other than Creative has 7.1 computer speakers. The only set I can think of right now is the Inspire T7700 7.1 set, oh and hey .. Terratec has a 7.1 kit now that I remember it, yet it's no match for a high-end set like this at all.

I've we'd go a tad abstract; in a Klipsch Promedia 5.1 vs Gigaworks S750 competition my vote would go to Klipsch for overall sound quality and Gigaworks for a much more powerful and strong bass. Yet sound, speakers and everything related is very personal and thus subjective. If you are going to buy speakers of this caliber then you must go to the store and listen to the sets available. Choose the set that sounds best for you because I might like it, yet you don't as sound is subjective! One thing is a sure fact though, my primary gaming rig now uses Gigaworks S750 and nothing is going to chance that for a while.

You need to ask yourself though if you really need 7.1 speakers as right now very little DVD titles even support it to it's fullest extent. On the other side, 7.1 is fully supported through DirectSound 3D and EAX compatible games and since you will spend a lot of money on speakers like these you might as well go for 7.1 already.

Bottom line: You'll pay a lot of money for a product of this caliber, but if you can spend that dough you really can't go wrong with it. An Audigy 2 ZS is a must have with these speakers though !
