Cougar Immersa Pro Gaming Headset Review

Communication is such an important component of today’s computing. You need a decent all-rounder headset, one that not only lets you talk to your teammates, but also sounds good when you’re watching a movie, a stream, or simply listening to music.

Cougar is a German company that’s been producing gaming-oriented peripherals since 2008 and is expanded its lineup of products, from mice, keyboards, and now headsets. They recently sent us a box full of goodies, including the new Immersa Pro, their top headset. If you thought you’d forgotten about RGB all the things, well, Cougar is here to remind you with the Immersa Pro.The Immersa Pro headset has some quality engineering behind it, durable metal construction, fat cushions for comfort, omnidirectional microphone, convenient volume and mute knobs, cloth-wrapped cord, and of course, RGB.

Specifications

In the era of simplified design, the Immersa Pro embodies the less-is-more ideology. Aside from the absolute fluff of RGB lighting, the Immersa Pro has all the things you’d want from a top-tier headset. Virtual 7.1 surround sound, comfortable earpads and headband, volume control, mute, noise-canceling microphone, and most importantly, good sound. And it’s very orange.
