Cougar UIX software is surprisingly good. The application is small and rather light. The good part here is that it is easy to use and intuitive.
One bad thing is the fact that all Cougar peripheral types (mice, headset, keyboard) need a separate program, so it’s not all gathered together in one main suite like Corsair does in the iCUE. You can set the function for all the keys, store macros and not only choose lighting effects but even create new ones yourself. The internal memory of the K700 Evo lets you save up to three configuration profiles (which are then easily selectable).
