The Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT comes in a suitable box with a very premium feel, a nice cloth pouch is inserted, the packing brings that premium unboxing feel to it. The huge advantage of this headset is that it is totally wireless, and with a good range as well; we reached 10~15 meters quite easily but not the 60ft / 20 meters Corsair is listing. The wireless connection is based on Corsair Slipstream technology. It is wirelessly compatible with PC and PS4 as well as wired USB and 3.5mm analog connections for wide flexibility or just connect through Bluetooth.

Included in the packaging you can find the wireless gaming headset, Slipstream dongle (wireless USB adapter), 1.5m 3.5mm stereo cable, 1.5m USB charging cable, quick start guide, safety leaflet, and warranty card (you receive a two-year warranty with this product).

The headset is not at all heavy but in all honesty, not light either at around 360g / 0.79lb. After inserting the USB dongle, the kit will self-install and link up. For added functionality (Eq and RGB) please do download the iCUE software (download) and as stated we can really recommend the Dolby suite. Once you plug the dongle in and select the Slipstream switch headset, it's all plug, play, and hear.
