Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro memory is available with heat spreaders in two colors - black and white. We got the first variant in a 4 x 8 GB kit. It is packed in a black cardboard box with typical Corsair yellow accents. In the top right corner, you can find information about the capacity and speed of the set. At the front, you can also see a note about the Intel XMP Certificate and iCUE compatibility for RGB set-up.

The internal packaging is a typical clamshell design. It is a cheap but effective solution. All 4 sticks (in 2 pairs) are held securely. Radiators are integrated with the PCB by means of an adhesive pad on each side, and it would require significant strength (or heating up with a hairdryer for a longer period) to dismantle them, so I did not do it, and do not recommend it either.

Here is how it looks like after unpacking. These are four 8 GB modules running at a frequency of 3200 MHz. They look very neat, and black PCB is always appreciated (and also becoming a standard). The aluminum heat spreader has a textured matte finish. Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro memory looks attractive, but the height is quite significant. The lightbars are relatively small compared with the whole package, but that shouldn’t be an issue for the lighting effects.

On the sticker, you can read that it is a kit of 4 x 8 GB with 3200 MHz and CL16 at 1.35 Volts. 32 GB is a bit overkill for the typical user (usually 16 GB should be more than enough, also for gamers), but if you process video/graphics it can come in handy. For the best performance, we recommend sticking to the settings from the preconfigured XMP profile.

The total height of module is 51 mm/1.78 inch. That can be an issue with some air coolers on the market (but, for example, the Noctua NH-D15s has clearance of about 60 mm with a single fan), and couple of AIOs (when 4 modules are put in), but as always: it’s best to double check if any interference might occur before buying this set.
